They told me Spring was here so I came out of hibernation ... yikes ... - 3˚ C in Vancouver but feels like -1˚.

I'm headed back to the den, put the paws up, dig out the secret stash of choklit, grab the remote and start at episode 1 of my own personal VCR collection of Miami Vice. (Yes, I am a complicated bear!)

I suppose I could head on down to Florida and take a look at Miami for myself - lots to do there according to Travel Tidings Florida. Did you know that there are black bears in Florida? And that you can see them at two
prime areas near Fort Walton Beach and the Apalachicola National Forest? Who knew, huh! You can also spot them in the Osceola National Forest near Lake City and the Ocala National Forest area north of Orlando.

It's tempting to go and visit them, but seeing as it's over 29˚ (or 84˚ for those of you who don't understand the whole Celsius thing) down there in Florida, I think I might just stay up here in chilly Vancouver and wait it out in front of the TV!

Send choklit!
